Do you need time?
I really love this question. If you ask me, “Do you need time?” — I would say yes. But maybe the deeper question is, “Do I need valuable time?” What is my value in life, in work, and in how I see everything around me?
Yes, I need time. But sometimes, I realize that I waste it. When I scroll through social media or get lost in too much information, I lose the time that could have been meaningful. That’s why, in early October, I deleted my social media accounts. Since then, I’ve learned to use my time more wisely — recording my thoughts through voice memos, writing essays, or simply reflecting while walking or riding my bike.
During these quiet moments, I let my thoughts flow freely. I think about what I truly treasure: good sleep, healthy food, daily exercise, and time to write in my diary or blog. I also cherish the time spent with my family, my church brothers and sisters, and most of all, with the Lord.
So, do I need time? Yes — but not just any time. I need the kind of time that is given to what truly matters. When I understand what is valuable in my life, I begin to know how to use my time with purpose and love.
